Day One: Arrive Nairobi
On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by an Odyssey Safaris representative and transferred to your accommodation; spend the remainder of the day at leisure to get acclimated for your upcoming safari adventure. If you wish, and time allows, we can schedule some optional activities for you to enjoy.
Overnight: Hemingways Nairobi
Day Two: Nairobi – Lewa Conservancy
After breakfast, pick up at your hotel and drive to Wilson Airport for your scheduled morning flight to Lewa Conservancy. Upon arrival at the airstrip‚ you are met by your safari guide/driver who will transfer you to the camp. After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive or one of the many other activities offered at the camp.

Day Three: Exploring Lewa Conservancy
Today you will be exploring the Lewa region, which is a stronghold for the highly endangered black rhino in Kenya. The conservancy intimately connected with the local tribes uses much of the profit raised in community and conservation projects. Traverse the conservancy in safari game vehicles and spot the myriad of species that live in the area.

Day Four: Lewa Conservancy – Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast and some goodbyes to Lewa, you transfer to the airstrip for your morning flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be met by a representative from Sand River Camp who will transfer you to the camp with game viewing en-route. After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive or one of the many other activities offered at the camp.

Day Five: Exploring The Masai Mara
Today you start the day will a very special private breakfast in the bush! The camp will set up a table and serving area in a scenic location a short drive away, you and your fellow travelers enjoy an enchanting breakfast while the sun rises over the plains and the wildlife begins their day. After, enjoy extensive game runs as you traverse the plains in search of elusive predators.
Overnight: Sand River Masai Mara
Day Six: Masai Mara – Amboseli National Park
Breakfast and some time to pack are scheduled before you transfer to the airstrip for your bush flight to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, you are met by a Tortilis Camp representative and taken to your camp. After lunch and some time to unpack, you depart on an afternoon game drive returning to the camp in the evening for refreshments and dinner.

Day Seven: Exploring Amboseli National Park
The day starts with breakfast followed by a morning game drive in the park. Amboseli offers opportunities for viewing large herds of elephants and nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. After lunch, we continue with an afternoon game drive or other optional activities offered by the camp.

Day Eight: Amboseli – Ithumba Tsavo East National Park
You take breakfast earlier this morning in order to get on the road for the enchanting and off the beaten path drive to Ithumba Camp. In the afternoon, we take a 1 hour game walk to the plateau and exploring Ithumba conservancy (alternate activity is possible if this is not desired). After the game walk, we return to the stockades for the feeding of the baby elephants then dinner.

Day Nine: Exploring Ithumba Tsavo East National Park
Rise early today at 6:00am for a full breakfast and a morning game walk searching for wildlife and ending with the wonderful opportunity to walk within the Ithumba stockades with the elephants. You see firsthand how the elephants live and are cared for, you assist the rangers with walking and feeding the young elephants; this is an experience you cannot find anywhere else in Africa.
Overnight: Ithumba Camp
Day Ten: Ithumba – Nairobi – International Flight Home
Today you can sleep in or take another opportunity to visit with the elephants before returning to the camp for a leisurely breakfast. As you depart from the camp, enjoy your last game drive in Kenya as you head for the park gate and the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Once in Nairobi, you are met at the airport and transferred to you day room before your international flight home.
