Day Tour Overview
The Giraffe Center in Nairobi started as the nonprofit African Fund for Endangered Wildlife Kenya, a rehabilitation project to rescue the Rothschild Giraffe. At the center, you learn more about this amazing animal while actually feeding and touching them from an elevating viewing house that also serves as the education center. The original house of the founders has been converted into a very impressive boutique hotel called the Giraffe Manor. Across from the Giraffe Center is a small nature walk that features two other giraffes and a variety of unique plants and birds.
