On this four day adventure, you’ll spend time in Kenya’s most spectacular national park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. This area is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Short and sweet, with unforgettable memories.

Day One: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Following breakfast, you depart on the dramatic drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Enjoy lunch at Ashnil Mara Camp and some leisure time before departing for the afternoon game drive at 3:30 pm. 

The Mara Game Reserve-one of the greatest wilderness environments in the world. The large mammals are varied and easy to see. The reserve is inhabited by Masai giraffe, buffalo, eland and thousands of plains game including impala, zebra, topi, and both Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles. You return for dinner at the camp at 6:30 pm.

Day Two – Three: Discover The Masai Mara National Reserve

The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs.

Wake up to the sights and sounds of one of the world’s premier wildlife destinations. In the Masai Mara Reserve live 95 species of mammals and 570 species of birds; an impressive number, making this area an unique destination for game safaris, one of the best places in all of Africa.

Day Eight: Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi – International Flight Home

Enjoy an early breakfast at the camp, checkout and conduct a game drive en-route with an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that is part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.

A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.  Souvenir shopping and a scenic stop at the edge of the Great Rift Valley before arriving Nairobi between 3 and 4 PM.  Day rooms, dinner and activities can be arranged depending the timing of your flight (additional cost).  We will transfer you from Nairobi to the airport for your international flight.
