Northern Kenya Wildlife Safari
This 8-day safari takes you to Kenya’s northern frontier, where your adventure will begin searching for elusive predators in the Olpejeta Conservancy. From there, we continue on to Lake Naivasha where virbant birds gatherto visit the last remaining rhinos and exciting game drives. Spend your remaining days traversing the endling plains of the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day One: Arrive Nairobi
Following your flight, the Odyssey Safari staff will greet you at the airport and load your bags for transport to the Safari Park Hotel. Once you are settled in, you may select an optional activity or simply relax at the hotel for the trip ahead. Some of the possible optional activities include: The Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Karen Blixen Museum, and Langata Giraffe Center.
Day Two: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, our adventures in the bush begin as we make our way to the spectacular Sweetwaters Tented Camp in the secluded heart of Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Reserve. After your evening game drive, you will enhance your safari experience with a night game drive. This opportunity is not available in most wildlife conservancies and is unforgettable.
Day Three: Exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Today we continue our exploration of this wonderful reserve with morning and evening game drives in Ol Pejeta Sweetwaters Conservancy. We also will be visiting the Rhino Sanctuary and Chimp Sanctuary, two experiences that you can’t find anywhere else in the world.
Day Four: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Lake Naivasha
Today we start our day with a morning game drive before heading back to the lodge for a full breakfast. After, check out and depart to make our way to Lake Naivasha. We arrive in time for lunch at our lodge by the lake and in the early afternoon, there is an optional boat ride should you be interested in viewing the wildlife from a different perspective.
Day Five: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve
This morning we will drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains, famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is also the home of the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Arrive in time for lunch at the camp, then depart on an afternoon game drive.
Day Six & Seven: Exploring The Masai Mara
Wake up to the sights and sounds of one of the world’s premier wildlife destinations. In the Masai Mara Reserve live 95 species of mammals and 570 species of birds; an impressive number, making this area an unique destination for game safaris, one of the best places in all of Africa. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard.
Day Eight: Masai Mara – Nairobi – International Flight Home
Enjoy an early breakfast at the camp, checkout and conduct a game drive en-route with an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that is part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. Take a scenic stop at the edge of the Great Rift Valley before arriving Nairobi between 3 and 4 PM, then transferred to the airport for your international flight.
Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi
Set across a 50-acre elegant manicured gardens, Safari Park Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar. The spacious rooms feature an African themed four-poster bed draped with a mosquito net and come fitted with a seating area, flat-screen satellite TV and private bathroom with a bath and shower. Safari Park Hotel offers a variety of restaurants offering cuisines from Italian, African, Japanese and Chinese. Guests can relax at Hemingway’s lounge and bar which features an open-air terrace with views of the garden.
Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, Lake Naivasha
Set in one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with Acacia bushes and trees, the resort is not only home to our resident giraffe, waterbuck and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys, but it is also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on our expansive lawns.
