Day 1
Kasane – Chobe     L – D
On arrival at Kasane Airport, guest to be met and assisted onto their shared road transfer to Chobe Game Lodge. Transfer time is approximately 45 minutes.

The Chobe Game Lodge is situated in the remote and unspoilt northern extremity of the Chobe National Park, approximately 90km west of Victoria Falls. The peaceful, air-conditioned, en-suite lodgings ensure guests’ comfort. An atmosphere of cool tranquility runs through the graceful, high arches, tiled floors and barrel-vaulted ceilings of the Lodge. Game drives are conducted in open-sided 4X4 vehicles. Professional guides offer slide shows, star-gazing presentations, garden and river walks and walking safaris in nearby forests. Facilities include a large swimming pool with terrace, a riverside boma, a fully equipped conference room, and a business centre. There’s also a stylish bar with an outside terrace overlooking the Chobe River and a cigar bar with a full-size billiard table

Please meet your camp representative in the camp reception area for your shared road transfer to Kasane Airport. Shared light aircraft flight from Kasane Airport to Savute Safari Lodge. Flying time is approximately 40 minutes. Guests to be met at the airstrip by a camp representative and transfer to the camp by means of a game drive.

This area is known for its large population of bull elephants and for the unique interactions of the resident predator species. The Savute Safari Lodge has been designed to mirror the wilderness that surrounds it.

All suites have private decks, combined bedroom and sitting areas and en-suite facilities. The sitting area, library and cocktail bar are situated in the exquisite thatch-and-timber main building.  Savute boasts a grand viewing deck, an al fresco dining area and swimming pool, which is ideal for watching game at the waterhole. It’s these features that set the lodge apart from other safari destinations.   Open 4×4 game drives are conducted in the Savute area. This includes the famous Savute Marsh. The ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills, add magic to a delightful African safari.

Flying time is approximately 25 minutes. Guests to be met at the airstrip by a camp representative and transfer to the camp by means of a game drive.

The Xugana Island Lodge’s boma, and al fresco dining area, overlook the Xugana Lagoon’s expanse of pristine water. The open-sided thatched lounge, bar and dining areas are covered by a beautiful African Mangosteen tree canopy. The swimming pool, located in the established gardens in the centre of the island, is the perfect place for guests to relax in the heat of the day.

Visitors can explore the delta by motorboat or mokoro, or take leisurely walks on other islands in the concession. There are ample opportunities for guests to experience a classic Okavango Delta safari. Bird-watching opportunities are outstanding, and guests can also fish for bream and tigerfish.
