Arrive Nairobi

Following your flight Odyssey Safari staff will greet you at the airport and load your bags for transport to the Safari Park Hotel.

Once you are checked in and settled, you may select an optional activity or simply relax at the camp for the trip ahead.

Day Three

Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Private Game Reserve

After breakfast our adventures in the bush begin with spectacular Sweetwaters Tented Camp in the secluded heart of Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Reserve. Here, these magnificent beasts are given sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns.

Here too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates face to- face. This camp also overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the area and offers elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game.

This is Africa as Teddy Roosevelt saw it years ago when he led one of the first safaris to tour Africa in comfort and splendor; tents at Sweetwaters Camp will remind you of this bygone era.

After your evening game drive, you will enhance your safari experience with a night game drive. This opportunity is not available in most wildlife conservancies, so wrap up warm and let loose that intrepid explorer inside you.

Day Four

Explore Olpejeta Private Game Reserve

Today we continue our exploration of this wonderful reserve with morning and evening game drives in Ol Pejeta Sweetwaters Conservancy. The Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including all the “Big Five” (the only three North white left in the wild, and endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion). We also will be visiting the Rhino Sanctuary and Chimp Sanctuary, two experiences that you can’t find anywhere else in the world.

The Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary is an unique opportunity to learn more about the day-to-day care of the chimpanzees in care. This experiences gives you exclusive access to feeding time and the enrichment activities within their enclosures.

.

The Rhino Sanctuary is home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos, and a sanctuary for over 110 critically endangered black rhinos. The Conservancy employs highly trained rhino protection squads, partners with international veterinary experts and ensures data is gathered regularly on each individual animal. Steps like these ensure we remain a role model for rhino conservation in East Africa.

Day Five

Ol Pejeta – Lake Naivasha

Today our adventures begin with a morning game drive to finish exploring the majestic wildlife within Amboseli National Park. Upon finishing your game drive, enjoy a delicious breakfast and prepare to depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for an afternoon lunch.

There are a wide range of optional activities to choose from to finish out your day.

Maybe a boat ride on the lake? How about an informative nature walk at Crescent Island discovering the unique wildlife that roams within it? Or you may wish to lounge by the pool admiring the view of zebras, giraffes ad waterbuck just outside the fence.

Day Six

Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara Game Reserve

This morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino.

The Mara Game Reserve-one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Parks are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles.

.

Take your first glimpses of the vast savannah and wildlife on your way to the camp. Lunch at the camp and then depart on an afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wilderness areas of the world where large mammals are varied and easy to see.

Day Seven

Discover Masai Mara
