Whether exploring in Bwindi Forest, to encountering lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park, this adventure offers the chance to get to grips with two of Uganda’s most beautiful regions and it’s most fascinating wildlife. To maximise your time you will fly in and stay in two luxury lodges, Kyambura Gorge Lodge and Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp, both of which offer stunning views and easy access into the surrounding parks.

Day One: Depart Home

Catch your overnight flight from your international airport to Entebbe International

Day Two – Four: Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by a member of the Odyssey Safaris team who will assist you onto your light aircraft. From here you will be flown to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Kyambura Gorge Lodge.

Fully upgraded during 2018 and 2019 with entirely remodeled public areas and gardens, this stunning property is located on the edge of the Queen Elizabeth National Park with beautiful views of the lush green mountains and the sunken Kyambura Gorge. Here you can embark on walking safaris along the Kyambura gorge and along the Queen Elizabeth savannah.

Day Five – Seven: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi

Today you will be driven out to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing Lions which are unique to this region. Upon arrival into Bwindi, you will check into the superb Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp which seamlessly blends into the dramatic African mountain landscape.

Here you will embark on the exciting adventure of tracking gorillas in their natural habitat. This is an opportunity afforded only to a select few, as just eight visitors are allowed to view each group every day. If you are looking for an unforgettable cultural experience, a visit with the local Batwa People will do just that and so much more.

Day Eight: BwindiEntebbe – International Flight Home

Today you will be transferred to the Kihihi airstrip for your onward flight via light aircraft to Entebbe International Airport. Here you will connect with your onward flight home.
